Why Volunteer?

Volunteering is a fun way to get out of the house and give back to your community. The Library offers a versatile volunteer opportunity as we interact with all ages, races, and socio-economic statuses. Libraries are for everyone, and everyone needs help sometimes.

Whether your interests lie in children’s story-times, book repair, new technology, exercise, or music, there are ways you can help out at your local library.

Marple library is proud of the growing teen volunteer program we have fostered over the past 5 years and of the exceptional teens who come from it. We gladly offer letters if recommendation, references, and confirmation of volunteer hours for school or honor societies. Contact Amber, our Teen Librarian, with any questions about volunteer opportunities.
